I am a member of the UKCP and accredited by the same organisation. I have a keen interest not just in practising psychotherapy, but also of philosophy and history. Psychological issues are intrinsically bound up with our philosophical view of the world, how we make sense of it, and interpret it. Both philosophy and psychology seek to explore this and in doing so can change our perspective. This is in part also what I do as a therapist.

I have been practicing as a therapist for 20 years, my qualifications include a 1 year certificate in counselling and psychotherapy, followed by a 4 year diploma in counselling and psychotherapy, and a 2 year masters degree in counselling and psychotherapy and accredited EMDR training.
I have previously worked for BUPA psychological services as a clinical manager, CiC (Counselling in Companies), also as a clinical manager and at The Counselling Foundation as clinical director. I am currently a senior teaching fellow at Greenwich University working in the school of human sciences.

My training is an integrated, combining many approaches including psycho dynamic, cognitive (CBT) humanistic, existential and transpersonal elements. My personal approach varies from person to person, which is a strength of this training. You can find out more about my thoughts and research in other areas of the site. I work in W2, five minutes from Warwick Avenue or Paddington station, from premises overlooking Little Venice.
I predominantly work face to face and my fees are £100 for a fifty minute session.
